Pippin was never a #1. Solid #2 but Wade carried Heat multiple times even with LeGM on the team.

Wade was "the guy" one time, and that season he was playing next to an All-Star and 1st team All-NBA Center....

Otherwise, Wade was never "the guy" lol. He got carried by LeBron from there for his other two rings.



Pippen just wasn't an all-time premier scorer, that's why some people overlook him (he just didn't take a lot of shot attempts with Jordan on his team). He was giving the Bulls 20/8/6 on a nightly basis though and was one of the best defenders in NBA history. The one season when Jordan retired saw Pippen have the best season of his career and help the Bulls still win 55 games (just two fewer than the season before with Jordan on the team).
