Ya i'm not arguing that, Tatum still has room to grow and isn't even into his typical prime years.

Was just talking so far, and at this point. Right now Lillard > Tatum but that can change....if Tatum stops being a dumbass

Wtf lol no, right now (as in this season) Tatum is definitely better. Not only is he shooting better (but still trash) he actually plays defense and is rebounding really well. He’s shot us out of at least 2 games yeah, won’t lie about that, but so has Lillard.

You have some weird bitterness about Tatum… probably comes back to the Sixers trading up to overlook him and taking arguably the biggest bust of all time.

I'm not taking Tatum over Lillard because of a 7 or 8 game sample size...

Lillard is a top 10 player, easily. He's slumping, but quite a few guys are. They'll both even out and at their best Lillard takes the cake over Tatum any day of the week.

Lillard is cold blooded, i'll take him in crunch time over anyone in the NBA to hit a game winner (him or KD). Even if he never plays for the Sixers, he's still a straight up killer nobody can deny that.

Like Noun said, why is Lillard slump allowed in your eyes but you shit on Tatum for it??

Yeah Tatum doesn’t have that cold blooded DNA….

Let’s ignore his 50 point play in game and dropping 34 a game on the Nets

Oh and all the other countless playoff games he’s gone huge in.

I'm not shitting on Tatum just for now, he's normally a VERY streaky player in general....he literally shoots his team out of games with garbage shot selection and bricks, or completely keeps them in it when he catches fire. He's like a microwave scorer there never seems to be an in-between.

Jaylen Brown is the best player on the Celtics and there's no question about that in my mind. He's the total package.

Also the Nets had one of the worst defenses in the NBA last season. I'm not sure bragging about getting 4-1'd in the first round of the playoffs against a garbage defensive team counts especially when Tatum had a couple of awful games to start the series lol.

When Simmons was out, ya

Sixers perimeter defense was horrible then. They had no one to guard him and he looked like Jordan out there. Thybulle wasn't ready as a rookie he got smoked.

I think you’ve got a bit of recency bias going on. Tatum historically starts seasons slow then fires post ASG but he’s for the most part pretty reliability efficient. Of course he has some ups and downs as all scorers do but you’re exaggerating a bit.

Tatum is still our best best player and there’s no doubt about that. Jaylen is more consistent and more well rounded, but Tatum is still our best player (obviously not right now, that would probably be Al Horford).

Everyone was saying the same thing last season. Jaylen started on fire and Tatum was cold…. By the business end of the season all them idiots were quiet.

Love Jaylen, I might even like him more than Tatum, but Tatum is better.

Celtics will not win a Championship with Tatum as their #1. He gets his, but he's just not really making guys around him better.

He reminds people of Melo tbh, super talented ISO scorer but absolutely awful shot selection and doesn't make the players around him better.

Sixers missing 3 starters tonight: Benjamin Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Danny Green.

Still 2.5 point favorites against the Bulls

Feels good B)
