In what world is a 21/22 year old player in his first few years in the league expected to win it all, or it's a failure? Simmons literally ran point guard for a top 5 offense in the NBA his rookie year, and then followed that season up with an All-Star season and then followed that up with an All-Star, All-NBA and All-Defense season. He's not even 25 yet
As far as Embiid in the playoffs last year goes, he had absolutely no help. The spacing was terrible, the offensive sets were terrible, Brett Brown was clueless and had no idea how to use that roster, etc. It was a total mess, so to see Embiid average 30/12 despite being double and triple teamed on every single possession was still incredible.
I mean you predicted Philly win it all in 2020. Or did you not buy that red bolded thread? smh.
I'm not even going to try with you. Philly fans supposed to be ring or bust. Supposed to be difficult to be an athlete in philly.
However with you? You just move the goal posts whenever it fits.
At the end of the day. 30/12 is not good enough for someone of embiid's talent. Especially in the playoffs against the undersized celtics.
Continue trying to turn this SF into your personal 76ers fan thread.
