I’m not convinced of that, and even if they make the playoffs they won’t be competitive and the usage Westbrook demands will probably cut into Beal’s development (I don’t see the two of them getting along honestly)

Washington is going nowhere fast, so adding a guy that makes them slightly better but not that much on a VERY unfriendly deal is just delaying the inevitable rebuild.

Similar to when we brought in Blake. Sure he was better than Harris, but he didn’t make us good enough and he set us back several years.

What do you mean they are going nowhere fast?? They just traded a useless asshole who is fucking the dog with regards to an injury - that occured right after what at the time was the biggest contract in NBA history-, For Russell Mother Fucking Westbrook - Has the record for Triple Doubles - Has been to the playoffs every single season since he started basketball basically, sometimes single handedly doing so. Averaged a triple double over a season. Regular season MVP for 2017. HE got a 20-20-20 by the way. Not even Jordan has done that.

Not only that but The Wizards got RUSSELL MOTHER FUCKIN WESTBROOK without having to sacrifice Beal Like HELLO!??! =

They only place they are going is STRAIGHT to the playoffs. And you better be shook cuz Now Detroit has to fight Westbrook for an 8th seed. Good fucking luck, Westbrook shits 8th seeds.

I’m a little biased, but I think the wizards won this trade

They moved a player that hasn’t played in 2 years on a horrible contract and a heavily protected pick for a top 25 player on an equally horrible contract. I think Russ and Beal makes a lot more sense than any other combination of star duos in this trade. Washington probably has a decent season and makes the playoffs, but not much success beyond that.

This is only a blockbuster trade because of how large the contracts are, but I don’t think it moves the needle much. I don’t know what the hell the Rockets direction is.. they gambled on small ball last year, now they are gambling on getting value in players coming off achilles injuries. They should have just kept Chris Paul. They moved off him because of injury concerns to end up with John fucking Wall lol

Those Rockets picks the Thunder own are looking juicy 👌🏻

Lolol I could definitely be wrong, just don’t think Westbrook will improve the Wizards that much
