houston is in a terrible position ever since they thought CP3 would be the answer, they offloaded his terrible contract for an even worse one with westbrick

my guess is they'll try to find a way to offload westbrick and reload with lesser contracts and a decent big

i think ryan anderson's contract finally comes off the books this year? so that should help

Smart is a valuable player that could easily be flipped for some premium assets, ditto for Brown.

I just said that they would get 4 premium assets for Harden and here you are acting like that’s an insult but throwing out a Westbrook for Embiid trade

obviously houston isn't going to move on from harden without a ton of assets and smart isn't enough of an asset to even consider it

It seems like the Rockets are about to "run it back" with this same roster for one more season.

I'm starting to think they'll hire Jeff Van Gundy as head coach. John Lucas can be the assistant.
They're going to try and add Dwight Howard and Nerlens Noel. Some more size can only help.

Trading James Harden will be a difficult decision but considering he can opt out in two years that's a huge factor.
The clock is definitely ticking. If the Rockets don't win an NBA Title soon Harden will form a super team elsewhere.
