There is a reason. The Raptors need to embrace a total rebuild mode. Siakham is a great player but he's not as experienced in the sport as most NBA players and his weaknesses show up. He's not a guy who will lead them to the promised land. He's a great #2/#3/#4 option but if they want to get back into contention, he can't be their best player.
