I apologize for having this incredibly selfish idea, but another thing that would improve the NBA ratings. If Giannis found a way to leave Milwaukee to form the next super team. I know you won't like that idea but he truly is a special and elite talent with all of his prime years ahead of him. Imagine if he went to a bigger market and had the entire NBA world under his feet like LeBron James did when he took his talents to South Beach back in the summer of 2010? We all drooled over LeBron back then. We'd be doing the same with Giannis Antetokounmpo! Maybe he can go win a few championships elsewhere and then return to the Bucks later in his career.

Why not bring the super team to Giannis? CP3 can probably be traded for pretty cheap in terms of assets if they can make room for his contract. He adds shooting around Giannis and is still a very good playmaker. It would be one of the better trios in the NBA with Giannis/Paul/Middleton.

Yes, that's a great idea if it can be done. I'm all for Giannis staying with the Milwaukee Bucks if it can be achieved. The Los Angeles Lakers have a good window to win it all this year and perhaps even repeat next year. The Golden State Warriors will likely be a strong team again. I don't know where the NBA is going in terms of the super teams. I'm surprised the Miami Heat are so good. I didn't think Jimmy Butler was a championship caliber player. I always thought of him as a selfish player for some reason. He's been a difference maker. Although the Heat will lose to the Lakers in the NBA Finals if both teams advance.

It definitely can be done. Bledsoe would have to moved for sure with his contract to make the numbers work. Lopez, Hill, or Ilysova would have to me moved as well but it's doable for sure.

I don't think it was necessarily that Miami was that good. They are solid and well rounded but Milwaukee was just a totally different team in the bubble, they even lost to the Magic in game 1. If the NBA never got shutdown I think Milwaukee runs through the East with 1-2 losses on their way to the finals and makes a competitive series with either LA team.

MLB, NFL, NHL, and College football are all also playing right now... we went from no sports to all the sports. Not surprised ratings would take a hit when a large amount of NBA casuals have now turned their attention to football.

This

Plus the fact that more and more people are cutting cable, in addition to the whole China situation before the season.

NFL and MLB ratings are down too.

Politics and sports don’t mix
Nobody cares to see LeBron whining about not getting an MVP he didn’t deserve while he basically cheats to get rings by colluding and tampering

Damn dude

Giannis isnt that good

Chill.

Giannis (the jsp user) is so bitter he can't take it, poor guy is probably depressed at this point.

I think I'd rather be in my situation, where my team disappointed me all season long and disappointed me in the playoffs and i was kind of used to it or numb to losing by that point. Compared to dominating all season, getting the #1 seed and being the favorite in the East with the DPOY and MVP on your team only to get knocked out in the 2nd round by a 5th seed lmfao

this

ratings were strong early i'm sure, but now you got literally NFL and NCAA football back on, MLB is closing in on their playoffs (not that anyone really gives a shit) and even premier league is back up again

dude just can't take that his team sucks so now has to defend it as nobody cares about this season...
