looking at shooting efficency (fg% 3p% ft%), per, ts%, ws/48, bpm, rpm

all of which cp3 >

raw stats of points and assists are not nearly significant enough to ignore the vast disparity in efficiency between them.

lowry shot 42% from the field this year. cp3 helped a team with far less talent to a great season, lowry took a team that has been solid for years perform at exactly the level it has for years barring the one year kawhi came and put it over the top

also lowry's raw stat advantage can be attributed to playing ~5 minutes more per game than cp3.

also, better overall career stats? that is so egregiously incorrect i won't even address it further. and lowry definitely has fewer playoff appearances than cp3

based
Lowry has better plus minus, all that matters. Plays more minutes because he isn't trash riding a 160mil contract.

Middleton had more votes than Simmons but due to position didn’t get the spot. Imagine that in the era of positionless basketball

That's unfortunate.

Will it cost him money?

Yes it will, though don’t feel too bad for him given the juicy contract he got. This was the first year Middleton really brought it both regular season and post season. If the Bucks somehow finagled a #2 next to Giannis, Middleton would be an elite #3 like Klay Thompson was on the Curry/Durant iteration of the Warriors

This voting is a joke, but I hope this fires up Embiid big time. There's no way a scrub like Gobert that gets played off the floor in the 4th quarter because of how bad he is deserves 3rd team over Embiid. Oh well.

He will no longer be considered the best center after this season, it's clearly Jokic. I hope he takes his game to another level.
