Also, he lived as close or closer to Kenosha than the 3 people he shot. So location of residence is irrelevant in your take

Responding to him is useless - he’s incapable of a coherent thought

Literally has nothing to do with him being black, if cops have guns drawn on you, for whatever reason, you might want to listen to what they say. If the person not listening is white/black/brown/orange/red/green they get shot

Although I agree it was his fault & actions that caused the death, cops have a much shorter fuse when it comes to dealing with minorities & that greater issue of inconsistency of enforcement & escalation must be addressed in legislation & accountability.

Would you say thats simply because there skin color is black and cops are racist, or would you say black people are more likely to be more aggressive towards cop, in general

A combination of both in my opinion. Because of the history of the police & just how the justice system has been so biased in the past against minorities, there is a high level of distrust in the justice system. I mean Rodney King was barely in the 90s, Emmet Till woulda been Biden’s Age right now if he was still alive, & some entire departments in the 90s, 00, & 2010s have been audited & caught with discriminatory processes that adversely affected minorities.

There is resentment. Law Enforcement has a horrible history of discrimination, the Justice system has a horrible history. Accountability to get these “bad apples” via internal affairs & complaint system has been feckless & compiles the animosity. So yes, we do need to do better.

Edit: yes on the other side, the culture among minority communities of not snitching, not trusting the police (even tho this is in white communities such as Italians & Irish as well), & More violent culture of the concrete jungle has led to harsher enforcement as well.

I can dig it, I think most people would agree, would be hard not to atleast with the general concept. But the kenosha situation basically has nothing to do with any of that. You could argue maybe not 7 shots, but definatly getting shot, more than once, regardless of skin color. So using that as an example, for police reform, or racism, or social injustice, or whatever, actually hurts the argument as a whole, because logical people will side with the cops in that situation. Social justice warriors tho
