Prime Shaq would get absolutely obliterated in the modern NBA space and pace game defensively. Not to mention he'd get killed in the P&R worse than he did in his era. He would be asked to defend the perimeter (which he can't do) and he'd have to run the floor way more than he did in his era. Defensively he'd be a huge liability, but then again Shaq was never known for his defense he was actually a liability outside of defending post ups.

Would he dominate in the paint offensively though? Absolutely, but Embiid did too and the Celtics just doubled and triple teamed him the whole series clogging the paint while his teammates couldn't knock down shots.

Shaq can't space the floor at all like Embiid can, so the Sixers offense would be even more cluttered with Shaq in the middle lol

Main difference is Shaq is a winner while Embid taunts everybody and then criess when he falls short time after time
