The harden trade really provided so much flexibility. It’ll be interesting to see what Morey does especially around the deadline. I don’t know if something necessarily has to get done just to get a guy for a few months, with how much cap space they’ll have in the summer. Still have to see how they continue to play too and if there’s a glaring need

They should honestly be working with the Raptors to get OG or Spicy P. I think if they got one of those guys they'd have a legit shot at a Finals run

Games missed since 2016-2017 including playoffs:

Embiid: 170
Giannis: 74
Jokic: 39

the only other all-time great big who was comparably unreliable and fragile was Bill Walton

If they could pry one of those guys away I’d be all for it. But Pascal is a FA after the season so I wonder if they think to just wait to sign him after and not give up anything. Vs OG who has the player option they’d need to trade for and that’d be costly but worth it. Either would help immensely

The Raps let FVV and Nurse pass them by, why would they be holding onto Pascal AND not offering him an extension yet?

If you don’t think they’re trying to trade him, why haven’t they extended an offer then? All of his peers in his draft class have been extended already.

Spicy is gonna be 30 this season as well, it makes no sense to hold him if the team is going to turn the keys over to Barnes...

I don't know if you realize this yet or not, but they're both going to be free agents after this season...

OG flat out refused contract extension offers from the Raptors, and verbally expressed his intent to hit free agency. There were also serious rumors that indicated he wants out of Toronto, although PR cleaned that up quickly and had him saying the politically correct thing lol. Most people would be absolutely shocked to see OG in a Raptors uniform next season...

It's either trade him before the deadline this season and get something in return, or lose him for nothing in the offseason. The Sixers are sitting on massive cap space this offseason and would be happy to sign him then. Remember him and Nick Nurse are close.

Anyways Lillard is having a rough start in Milwaukee. His defense is as bad as we've ever seen it, and man the Bucks are missing Jrue on that end lol

I see you've completely ignored the fact that Embiid has had 3 running mates more accomplished and recognized as greater players than Middleton, meanwhile Giannis has a ring and a 2nd run to the ECF yet Embiid has not made a conference finals once. When Middleton missed the entire series against the Celtics, Giannis pushed them to 7. When Simmons missed the entire series against the Celtics, Embiid got swept.

Dame is better than Middleton, Simmons, Butler, and Harden tho so there are no excuses for this Milwaukee team

Giannis Playoff PER: 25.6
Embiid Playoff PER: 21.6
