Problem is Portland doesn’t want Mann either, to make salaries match across the three. Teams like New Orleans, Orlando, or OKC could easily take Jrue for themselves if they feel that their young teams need a steady vet to take a step forward.

Jrue is due $35M this season and then has a player option for $38M next year. If he has a usual Holiday caliber great season then it's guaranteed he'll opt out and need to be re-signed.
