They were a -1200 favorite regardless of any Giannis injury. I don’t want to hear it LOL you should be able to beat a play in team with your star in for the majority of the games.

the Bucks without Giannis are like a 7th seed team in the East (and no Dame)

It takes so much pressure off of Middleton that's for sure. He's not the go-to in the clutch like he was a couple years ago and now he doesn't have to be. With Dame and Giannis demanding so much attention, 50/40/90 season incoming.

I'd be shocked if the Bucks don't end top 3 in O rating this season. They'll be dangerous if they're healthy, it would take a matured Celtics team to beat them or an impressive trade to Miami/Philly.

thats like saying the Warriors lost to the Raptors in the Finals

we all know if Durant played the full series the Warriors add another ring

if Giannis plays the full series Miami loses

I agree

Its surprisingly a good trade for all three teams

Bucks clear cap space (still in luxury) but also get Dame

Portland doesnt look like they got fleeced, as Ayton and Jrue have both been to an NBA finals and Ayton Plus Jrue plus picks kinda makes sense for Dame. they got the lionshare in the trade and ownership is better positioned to go all in on Scoot.

Suns get this Grayson Allen kid which is what I am honestly most excited about the trade and they got rid of Ayton. But Suns now have like 7 pfs and no ideal center build so idk it might work like a pseudo Cleveland with everyone being s stretch 4 instead of a stretch 5

ya on paper it always looks good but the only time when this happened and it actually gelled and lead to a great season was really Toronto. Im cheering for Dame to make it a team of super friends but historically the stats work against a start going to a new team and expecting to just be top 3 offence right away

Not the case at all, that’s more like when the Warriors lost Curry for the majority of the series against the Blazerrs in 2016 but because the Blazers were a far inferior team in the 2nd round they still were able to pull through with Draymond Green stepping up.

Thats like saying even tho Warriors lost Durant in the WCF in 2019 against the Blazers (irony again) were still able to pull through because even losing a star, they are a vastly inferior opponent.

Stop making excuses for the huge failure that was Milwaukee last year. Failure Only surpassed by Boston tbh.

Giannis had a lower back contusion, idk the exact parameters, could be mild could be severe, but I remember him playing gingerly as fuck. I know you’re just trolling trying to create a narrative, but depending on the severity/location not something you rly want to fuck around with

It’s Dame + Giannis… spam PNR and make teams choose their poison

The fact that Middleton is now the third option offensively? Cash money baby

The Bucks without Giannis are an inferior team. Idk how many times you need to be reminded of that. Jrue was clanking a lot of open shots, this offense could be one of the most unstoppable duos ever.

The Celtics or Heat might come out of this with Holiday. I’d be very annoyed by either outcome ☹️ hopefully the Clippers push their chips in for their last Kawhi + PG13 run instead
