Bud definitely messed up not calling that timeout but I see why he did it, he didn't want Miami's defense to set because of how dominant they've been the last 15min of the game and trusted his players in transition with 6 seconds left. Should've given Jae Crowder a shot here on defense, I don't like the guy but he'd give Jimmy a tougher look than Middleton who kept getting switched onto Himmy. Bucks were shook down the stretch for sure, outside of Giannis's hustle and layins, no one else wanted the shot. Brook Lopez had open looks but he turned them away after taking them the first 3 quarters. Jrue was tired from going all-out on defense, Middleton was the only shot creator but he was getting locked up.
All in all though, lets be honest about Miami. They coasted through the regular season and had injuries throughout, and they are not a true 8th seed (even with Herro out). People are quick to forget that this is the conference finalist and top seed of the East last year, and there was literally NO core personnel change. LFG Miami
I meant at the end of the 4th quarter with .5 seconds left, obviously a full court time out is way better than inbounding for a full court hail mary shot. Giannis and Lopez are two of the biggest threats in the league to score with .5 seconds left on a lob in bound pass.
