He would create a lot of outside space, much like Gobert and Rob Williams do. Obviously if he never adapted his game to be an outside scorer, he would draw a lot of opponents onto him inside, creating space for the shooters on the perimeter.

Everyone always talks about spacing in the NBA for slashers and inside scorers, but no one ever really talks about outside spacing.

I would love to see Draymond try to guard Shaq. Imagine some clown trying to put a 6'7" player on prime Shaq.

Embiid has a jump shot....handles....lateral quickness.....you know, pretty much everything. 7'2'' 280 lbs and literally faces up and takes guys off the dribble doing euro steps and fade away threes all the while being the most dominant post up scorer in the league. Hence why nobody can defend him without 2 or 3 guys being thrown at him and fouling.

It's a beautiful thing, the NBA has evolved so much. Big men are asked to do SOOO much more in todays NBA, especially defensively. Embiid shines defensively all over the floor, where as Shaq couldn't even handle playing defense in his era (regularly picked on in P&R) let alone trying to play it in todays league where he would be a complete liability. Shaq literally doesn't even know what a switch is, he said himself "fight through it" the guy is so out of touch in todays league and how good the shooters are he'd never survive
