This has to be the weirdest post ever, you're just talking to yourself....
No one did say it would just be Simmons, wtf are you talking about? Sixers could easily include a younger player or two, they have both Maxey and Thybulle two very valuable young pieces to go along with numerous draft picks. If Lillard became available, the Sixers have more than enough to offer more than any other team could. Keep in mind Lillard is already 31 years old...
Lillard deserves better, playing next to Embiid would be a dream come true for him. The Trailblazers are straight garbage and haven't given him shit to help him.
LILLARD AND EMBIID
PLEASE OH SILVER MAKETH THIS HAPPEN

Simmons is pretty fucking dominant when he drives aggressively. The issue in the playoffs is he was struggling so bad at the FT line he stopping even attacking the rim, because it was in his head. If he would have attacked like he normally does and been aggressive the Sixers would have won that series, but he literally just took himself out of the game mentally while he was still physically on the floor.
Soooo much of success in the NBA is mental, no matter how big, strong, fast and talented you are. Simmons was passing up wide open dunks that he normally flushes without hesitation, that's how much it was in his head. Everyone could see he was toasted mentally and the sudden major struggles at the FT line in the playoffs was getting to him.
NBa is elite level trash talking as well. Some players quit the league simply because they can't handle the trash talking; then they go to Europe where they can't understand the shit talk so its k. So yes NBA incredibly important mental game. Simmons probably gets murdered phonetically by the other team every time he misses a shot.
