If Al + Tatum are out against Hornets**, win streak will be in danger
To be honest, the Hornets aren't that great. Kemba Walker could have another MVP type season, where he's going to literally lead the Hornets in PPG/APG in about 2-3, and.....
They would still lose.
Season: PPG Field Goal % 3-PT %
2014-15 17.3 38.5 30.4
2015-16 20.9 42.7 37.1
2016-17 23.2 44.4 39.9
These are his numbers over the past few years. And yet, once again the Hornets have squandered his individual talent. He's an absolute monster offensively. I would garner that he could, like Isaiah Thomas, could have similar numbers once he gets a stronger supporting cast to give him more space to operate, instead of him doing Isaiah Thomas's pin ball drives and getting hit recklessly.
Hornets better hope Malik Monk pans out, and that Lamb/Batum can be consistent this year. Lamb is putting up some impressive numbers, also shooting with 45.3%, but those guys are not star players. And talent is vital in this league.
