We haven't even seen what he will do in his prime years which won't be for a few more years...
I pointed out his accomplishments because he's on the same pace that many other greats were on their first few years (or even exceeding that). Yet you're talking about how he hasn't lived up to expectations?.was he supposed to be the best player in the league by the age of 23/24? LOL
At this stage he is living up to his hype every bit. Shit, he may even be exceeding it because while he was projected to have great defensive tools we didn't exactly expect him to be this great defensively. Yeah his jumper isn't there but he's as great in every other area of the game and he's the elite passer with elite court vision that he was projected to have.
He doesn't need to "get away from Embiid" lol they're having great success together on the floor. I mean they've had a lot of success in the past together, but this year more than ever before. Sixers just need to continue to build around them as Morey is doing and it's only year 1 with him.
LBJ was taking his team as the best player on his team to the NBA finals at the age of 22.
Sure he lost 0-4 but he still got to the dance.
His second best player was what.. Ilgauskas?
This is not taking things away from Ben Simmons. He's a great player and I've said that continually. Why you keep trying to convince me that he's a great player just shows either you can't read. Or deep down you agree with me that he's soft. You're just trying to deflect and change the topic of discussion from my original comment.
Ben Simmons was billed as the next LBJ. LBJ at the age of 22/23 was fighting for the best player in the league title. Ben Simmons is not the best player in the league. Nor is he even in the conversation.
It's not due to his lack of 3 point shot either. Again in this specific conversation I have said NOTHING about his shooting ability or his stats. You continually bring stats/accomplishments up in an attempt to offer a defense to Simmons for me simply calling him SOFT, for responding to randoms who criticize his game.
I'll say it again. Ben Simmons might be a millennial and he can sit at the kids table. But he's too soft to be one of us. You don't always have to clap back at criticism like GenZ believes. You can sit there, let people say what they want. Then show them they were wrong with your actions.
Ben Simmons is SOFT.
