In what world should he ever have been benched, it makes no sense.

None of the rotations make sense tbh.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the Lakers are amongst the bottom of the league in "clutch" games. Team can't close or make the important plays when it matters most.. Just iso/post up Bron and he tries to read & react. Too many crucial turnovers again tonight late in the 4th. Smh.

Hard to watch. At least they gave more effort in the 2nd half but this shit is sad lol

Haven't seen XxShin3d0wnxX much this season

No surprise, Lakers are trash as expected. Daddy LeBron can't even save them anymore.

Come on bro, even our biggest haters wouldn't have expected them to be THIS bad.. Westbrook was a questionable fit at best, but he really fell off this year..

The roster was poorly constructed, no doubt about that. But injuries have played a key factor also. Not the end all be all, but still.. It's the lack of consistent effort that pisses me off lol.

Our most expensive FA signing (aka someone the team clearly expected to play a key role) hasn't played a game all season which has been a disappointment.

I mean ffs, they just paid 5m to waive DJ, instead of ponying up a little extra money to bring back someone like Caruso who was a fan fav and a great fit to the squad. All to save a lil $$ 🙄

Watching them construct that roster in the off-season was painful. Just adding one washed up piece after another, all to surround them around a 50 year old LeBron and a fragile made of glass AD.

The Westbrook addition made NO sense at all, i still can't understand how anyone in that organization thought that was a good idea.

Lebron has played great basketball, but nobody else has. Maybe Monk as well, but everyone else has performed like shit sadly

It's a shame because the right move seemed inevitable in getting Hield and then they changed course. Reminded me of when they were about to bring back Phil Jackson to coach and then signed D'antoni instead lmao

Meh. I don't think Hield moves the needle worth a damn tbh. Bron and AD fucked up by convincing the team to trade for Russ, which indirectly meant not signing Demar - who stated in a podcast a few months back that he was willing to sign for cheap (possible MLE?) and come play in his hometown.

Monk at 1.8m >>> Hield at whatever his contract is.

It was a much better move than the Westbrook trade tho, Hield is the kind of player you want next to AD and Lebron and he's like $20M cheaper. A better fit and a gives them more flexibility. Agree that Monk>Hield with those contracts, why not both?

Yah for sure. He woulda been a much better fit than a lot of the guys on the roster now. If we woulda just kept KCP, Kuz, Harrell and not done the WB trade.. the team woulda been far better off. I'll admit, I was optimistic that WB would mesh and the pieces would fit but it's been a complete disaster lol. Doesn't help that WB has fallen off the cliff this season.

Coulda traded Harrell before the season because I don't think he fit well and wasn't thrilled with his role. Woulda allowed us to resign Caruso etc.

I think the deal was Kuz for Hield and it was nearly finalized (Kuz has talked about this, he thought for sure he was Sacramento bound) but the Lakers pulled out last minute for the WB deal.

It makes me laugh that the reason they didn't resign Caruso was for luxury tax reasons.. as if the franchise doesn't make enough money. Only to turn around and legit just dump DeAndre after the trade deadline and spend 5m doing so.
