Yes it does, wtf? The reason shit gets blown up in the media is because justice isn't served. Its because these cops walk free THATS why people freak out and the media blows it up.

In this case the guy killed a kid and was immediately arrested and charged. Justice served. Case closed. What else is there to talk about?
