This game vs Germany did show Team USA Must have Embidd to win anything in Olympic as a big center, otherwise team is too small cannot guard the paint. AD and Embidd are about the same except who knows if Embidd don’t show up half the time next few games. AD always there competing at the center, but also fragile.

Hopefully both Embidd n AD last the whole Olympics and KD giving them a Boost offensively n defensively

Last 2 games have shown why Kerr made it clear Embiid isn't going anywhere. He took a few games to get going, as expected, but looks great now. Hence why he led team USA in pts, reb, and assists vs Germany lol.

AD simply can't replicate what Embiid does on both ends of the floor as a screener, scorer, or playmaker, and he sn't big enough to defend the paint the same way. LeBron is thriving next to Embiid as well.

Embiid, LeBron and Steph have great chemistry with the high screens, dribble hand offs, embiid getting ball high post where he's elite and draws extra attention. When they've been able to involve all 3 in an action it has been some of their best offensive stuff.
