Indiana OSU U56.5
Indiana / Ohio St - Kevin Wilson is ousted from IU, becomes tOSU OC and immediately hits the road to Bloomington. Indiana and tOSU ranked 19th and 20th in pace last year and had relatively similar run rates, esp when you consider the roster of each (IU threw it just a little more frequent). He inherits 9th year QB JT Barrett but all key wideouts are gone from last year's mediocre aerial attack. Just because Wilson is there (and because of the athlete discrepancy in the B1G), I'd expect the pass game to improve. IU defensively boasts a surprisingly strong unit last year that returns some great playmakers in the front 7. They should slow down tOSU run game and make JT throw which would make for mediocre on mediocre matchups downfield.
There's not a whole lot to say about IU offensively. Bluntly, they will have zero success against this Ohio State defense. They go from Wilson to DeBord as far as offensive command. DeBord best known for wasting down after down running Hurd for 2 yards rather than utilize the great playmaking abilities of Dobbs and Kamara. No shocker Tenner had a whale of an offense in November after Hurd was out of the picture. The pace will drop significantly, and the efficiency likely as well. I don't particularly like a side because IU is capable of handcuffing tOSU defensively and tOSU is capable of keeping the Hoosiers to single digits.
Another unit on u58
