Agree love AB, wanted to keep him, but he was gonna get paid. Plus Irving and Bradley is a very small back court. Morris is also an great LBJ defender, held him to his lowest FG% last year, even better Kawhi, Durant, or any other LBJ stopper.

Without losing Bradley, we couldn't think of getting Hayward, and losing Smart instead of AB might've been a big problem, now that we can see Irving can do what IT can do... Play solid offense, play make, while being a better defender, not getting destroyed on every play.

I think Brad Stevens is trying to go for a more heavy switch offense and defense.

Irving one of the best in tips and loose balls so far this season
Top 5 in both I believe

Love that he can boxout on the glass -- unlike IT
The biggest plus is him being 6'3 vs. IT @ 5'9 closing out to contest 3s

Is it just me being a dumb homer or this team couldve been a juggernaut with Gordon Hayward had he not been out the year? Saw some spurs highlights last night we looked nice...

I hadn't checked the stats, but I did notice it seems his defensive hands have got a lot quicker

He pick pocketed patty mills like it was nothing (a quick player in his own right)

While I do miss Hayward and would love to have him out there, it is hard to say... Brown must be close to M.I.P at this point in the season and the chemistry is really working well with him and Tatum

Slight jab at the Cavs?
Quote (Kyrie)

"I felt like I had to adjust, that was probably the biggest thing coming in [to Boston] and even playing pick up with those guys in the beginning -- they have a team-oriented at all times vibe and culture here and I've had to adjust my individual talent to the greater good of the group," Irving explained after Monday's win. "I feel like that has been going a lot better than even I expected because of the guys that we have in this locker room -- they make it a lot easier for me to adjust myself."

Don't think so...seems pretty true to me
Team with Lebron is never going to feel "team-oriented" as the show is always about him
Hardly ever am I watching and think "Kyrie show" or even IT when we had him
Stevens building a legit "team"

Okafor or Noel seems to be our targets with the DPE
Not sure Noel would accept the trade because he'd be losing his bird rights and would again have to find a new home if he wants over 9 MIL
Okafor makes the most sense as Stevens has always had a hard on for him -- don't know why because I hate his defense
But a legit post scoring threat + backup C is exactly the last piece needed
Alex Len another noteworthy name

Who do you think we'll get?

Okafor, not convinced he's a finished product.
