So its obvious that we are looking for a Back up Point Guard at the Trade Deadline, Rondo is just been complete crap. Rondo dibbles the ball until 3 secs left on shot clock, passes out , and we have to throw up a prayer 3. Of course Rondo's Vet leadership is worth keeping onto and everyone always creams over Playoff Rondo but we need someone else to move the ball and make a play during the season. Rondo also doesn't play a lick of D and that's not what we are about, this year.
Collison looks to be the one we are targeting, he is considering coming out of retirement to play for Lakers or Clippers. OFC Collison is not going to be our 3rd star but he will be a serviceable back up 100%. Collison was going to be a $10-12mil a year player before he retired out of no where, so getting him for a vet min would be a steal for sure. He's also a career 40% 3pt shooter, 5ast per game, and gives effort on D.
Iggy is another player we need badly, a wing defender is next spot we need to fill. Lakers don't have assets so it seems we will be looking to get this spot in the Buyout Market! Just pray Grizzlies don't move him at the Trade Deadline and we have a shot.
