Beal is not a big deal IMO, with AD the Lakers are immediate contenders.

I don’t think people are underestimating his value.. I think it has more to do with giving up a good chunk of our promising young core + several 1st round draft picks for a guy who in all likelihood, would sign here a year from now in FA.

The only thing they're promising is to keep your team (this team) out of the playoffs.

The best part about having a collection of decent-to-good young players is that you can use them as assets to acquire a legitimate star. 1 year from now is 2 years Lebron has been a Laker, he’s not getting any younger lmao. They should be all in this offseason..

well, they have no cap space for AD if they sign a max free agent this year. tho can only rely on a trade

If we can land another star in FA, than far more on board with trading for AD. Maybe I have a little too much faith in the young guys on this team lol
