He has made a few clutch ones yeah, but he is a liability on offense because he rarely drives and he doesn't have an outside game so teams can back off just like on Simmons.
Difference is Simmons can drive on anyone.

those 30 he packed this past summer really made a difference. if he gets a good 10 more he will be perfect! He is going to be our best player not only defensively but offensively as well if he becomes more aggressive going to the rim.

You guys are talking about him being the best player and All defense and I'm over here just hoping he can play a full season.

Ingrams health is a serious situation too, NBA executives say his trade value is very slim because of it. Really sucks because he was averaging 27 pts on 58% shooting after All-Star Break. NBA teams probably can't get insurance for Blood Clots so it's a risky move to make. Players careers have been cut short due to blood clots, let's hope he gets healthy and stays, if the clots come back it can be career ending.

They caught it early, so I’m hoping that’s a difference maker. I haven’t really heard anything about him in a bit though.

@umade, teams have never sagged off Lonzo like they do Simmons.. he’s not the slasher that Simmons is but teams respect him for the fact that he takes and makes 3’s.

I think once Zo has a full summer of work in, he’ll reap the rewards. He’s just been having some health issues but I’m not worried about that.

Alonzo and Ingram need to go, same goes for the head coach and most of the team. I only see two guys worth keeping besides LeGod.

Difference is Simmons literally can’t shoot. IIRC he (Lonzo) shot over 40% from 3 in college, I think his deep threat can definitely be devoloped but his form is weird for sure. I actually saw improvement from him on fast breaks and attacking the rim in general earlier in the year but he needs to bulk up a bit.

E: 41% at 5.4 attempts per game

Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram underwent thoracic outlet decompression surgery on his right arm Saturday and is expected to recover in time for the start of the 2019-20 season, the team announced.

The former No. 2 pick took a step forward in production in Year 3, though he appeared in a career-low 52 games before being shut down in early March. Ingram posted career highs in minutes (33.8), points (18.3), and effective field-goal percentage (51.8 percent).

In his final six appearances, Ingram averaged 27.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while hitting 52.9 percent of his 3-point attempts.
