Lakers cant get Both lol, We can only sign one max deal, in order to get a 3rd star we would have to trade for him and unload everything.

Plan all along was get 2 Stars and our Young Core, depending on who we sign in Free Agency, i really like the idea of trading for Beal and we wouldnt have to give up Ball, Kuz, and Ingram in a package, maybe 2 of the 3

So they didn’t just offer the farm for AD right?
If they could get Kawhi + Klay I seriously think they’d do the same.

Lakers cant get Kawhi and Klay, they can only get one, there is not enough cap space.

Out of Kyrie, Kawhi, KD, Klay, Kemba, Lakers can only sign one to a max deal.

You dont get Lebron + Kawhi + Thompson LOL, i should have been more clear Lebron is one of the stars, so we can only get 1 more

There’s no feasible way possible to sign 2 more, even accounting for penalties etc? I’m not educated in the finances of the NBA but they signed a good bit of one year deals recently and they’ve already shown a willingness to move the young core for a stud.

Yea I don't think I completely agree with his opinion that we can't sign 2 more max players (All Stars) given what we have for resources.

We’ve also seen people take pay cuts to fill spots on a legit contender so having at least some depth isn’t even out of the question after that.

Rondo 9 mil off the books next season
Muscala 5Mil off the books next season
Lance 4.5 Mil off the books next season
Bullock 2.5 mil off the books next season
McGee 1.5 mil off the books next season
Chandler 1.4 mil off the books next season

All this adds up to 35.9 mil, If we sign one max deal it will be 30-35 Mil, we can only sign one max deal next season
