No but seriously.
Lakers need to play well and if Lebron wants to talk like he's big, he needs to go out and put up 40+ in a win or loss, dont matter as long as he's the clear cut best player. Lately, that's not been the case.

Hes obviously not 100% from injury, everyone can see it, he is still giving us 25 pts, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Right now some possession its like WTF Lebron, what was that? Are we seeing a decline or still not 100% from injury?

I think its injury, which could start the decline of LBJ but we will see

I think people are being far too impatient/hopeful for this year. They don’t “need” to do anything right now. Lebron is struggling obviously, he hasn’t been in this position in over a decade and he has never missed this many games in a season. This season wasn’t supposed to be win all now. If they make the playoffs, great, the experience is invaluable but it’s not that important in the grand scheme of things moving forward (upcoming off season is far more important..) and considering the injuries I’m not very surprised at all where the Lakers are right now. All that said, I seriously wouldn’t be surprised to see Lebron go the fuck off real soon...

The thing is, Lakers on paper should be in the playoffs and there's no excuse losing to Knicks, Grizzlies, Pelicans etc. I did some counting before, maybe even in this thread, and Lakers have lost like 5-6 games where they led in the 4th Q.
Now take those losses, and add these past two games. 7 games. 29-31 turns into 36-24. 5 seed ahead of Rockets. Just one game behind Blazers and two games behind the 3 seed. These are all games we should've won. I can take the Thunder loss because they are a good team but the others..

From Jan 5, I posted this

Knicks... we got outscored 13 points in the fourth, lost by 7. We let Knicks shoot 41 freethrows. (means we had what, 6 pt lead in the 4th)
Thunder, we got outscored 11 points in the fourth, lost by 7. Despite Russ shooting 3-20 rofl (means we had what, 4 pt lead?)
Clippers, we got outscored 9 points in the frouth, lost by 9. They shot 94% from FT, 32/34. We shot 24/35, 68% rofl. (game was tied going into the 4th)
Kings, we got outscored 12 points in the fourth, lost by 1. Pretty even numbers all across. (11 pt lead rip)
Grizzlies, we got outscored 11 in the fourth, lost by 8. Shitty offense. (also had the lead)

Ingram is playing really well lately, good to see him take a leap forward.

On that first part.
if the other team had lost would people say they should've won that game vs the Lakers?

Welcome to the Western Conference playoff race.
Where even Phoenix can kick your ass if you don't take them seriously.
Lakers core outside of LBJ is too young to consistently beat these teams.
