Solomon Hill for 1 year is barely cap relief. Considering the trash situation they will be in, they can eat his contract for 1 year if they have to lol. Edit: What I mean by this, it's another win for the Pelicans if you guys are also taking Hill, but they don't REALLY have to move him.
That's exactly what they are doing. Getting everything possible out of LA because Boston would likely win a trade come summer time.
The Knicks would also be in play here, especially if they land the #1 pick.
They don't lose any leverage, they have all of it.
