I'm trying to stay awake. This game, man! My goodness gracious. It's heating up late but the damage was done.

Something never registered with this Loyola Chicago vs. Oregon State game. My excitement level was a perfect 10 going into it. I was feeling hyped up and buying the kool-aid that Sister Jean and CBS was selling to me. By halftime my excitement level went down to a rather miserable 1 due to the 24-16 score. And the best I can say is it went up to a 5 or 6 for stretches in the second half. For STRETCHES only!!!!

I had to wash dishes and vacuum around the house just to feel energized. That's the problem. The game should've energized me!

I didn't have enough ice cold A&W root beers in the fridge to keep me awake had this game lingered on.

Anyway, congratulations to the Beavers of Oregon State. They're going to the Elite 8. A win shy of the Final Four.
