Kind of like the betting rules, they are simple and straightforward. In your mind you must think that complex makes "things" better but in reality simplicity is the way to go

The hockey forum has some rules that make more sense and are still fairly simple and black and white.

And it goes over a few points of contention that could otherwise be grey areas if not covered.

Stating a bet in someone else's thread is considered autoconfirming also makes sense.
They posted they wanted the bet with that person.

Cam... in case you wonder why we made confirmed as a must thing in a bet, was because people overbet which led to more welches (intentional or not). And like many already said, our system has way less loopholes than the system before. Basketball section isn't comparable to Hockey due to way bigger population in here which leads to potential higher amount of welches. Plus people pay more attention to Basketball rather than Hockey so they first come here and see what it do.
