I mean, Kim's right here. You can atleast sometimes admit you had an incorrect take.
"But the reality " is unleashing Harden to another team and a completely new system and coach is what helped, which alot of ppl have said. You defended Harden.
What do you mean I had an incorrect take? Harden was great in Philly. The 76ers had the 3rd best record in the league, him and Embiid were the best connected duo in the league, and Harden won the assist title. These are all facts. He had his moments in the playoffs, but ultimately was James Harden in the playoffs as well (vanishes). We knew what we were getting with him...
With that said, firing Doc was necessary. I wanted Nick Nurse from the jump, he was always coach target #1. And as soon as Harden started on his bullshit and was mad because Morey wouldnt give him what he wanted when he wanted it....I was good with moving on without him. I'm a Morey guy as you all know, ill take his side over Harden any day. Especially when Harden talked about not getting the reigns in Philly like wtf..
Then again I've been posting all off-season about how GREAT Maxey was last season when Harden was out for a good amount of games. Don't act like Maxey hasn't been our guy from the start. He has been the future of this team, hence why they wouldn't move him even for Lillard...
Maxey > Harden. But we've known that. A lot of people are just figuring that out though.
