I can't see the 76ers trading Simmons for Harden...

No chance I'd move Simmons for anyone but Kawhi/Lebron/AD/Giannis/Doncic/100% healthy KD

I'd pass on any other offer

You’re overrating Simmons

The deal will be very similar in value to Simmons +3 firsts for Harden

Christian Wood erupts for 27 PTS & 10 REB in his Rockets debut.

25-year-old Christian Wood is my new favorite player in the NBA!

If James Harden can just put his massive ego aside and realize that this team is special.
He can win an NBA Title here. Stephen Silas will win the coach of the year award also.

But if Harden still wants to be traded then so be it. I'm going to be fine either way. Wait for the best deal.

I loved watching this man last show off his talents last season on a trash Pistons teams getting minimal attention, how the Pistons let him go is unbelievable.

Dan Gheesling is a Twitch streamer and former reality star on CBS' Big Brother show.
He's a big Detroit fan. He told me on Twitter that Christian Wood is a future superstar!

The other video didn't show it. Bill Worrell said, "Who needs James Harden?" LOL

Without James Harden, entirely, this Rockets team is probably still a 7th or 8th seed with Wood, Wall and Boogie.
Trade Harden for good assets (young star like Simmons or Herro and picks) and it's maybe a 5th or 6th seed.

But here's the thing: Keep James Harden this season and he balls out with the depth and talent we have. Top 3 seed!

Aight settle down yo, I like the Rocket's offseason and this is a solid roster with great potential pending Wall and Cousins, but no way I'm putting them in a class of the Lakers/Clippers/Nuggets.

If Wall or Cousins comes back as a shell of their former shelf the team's potential drops significantly and the west is WAY too strong to call this a playoff team without Harden.

Lakers are on another level. Nobody is afraid of the Clippers or Nuggets though. A top 3 seed is possible if James Harden buys into this team.
Honestly, this Rockets team finally has size, athleticism, rebounding, block shot ability. Multiple guys that can create their own shot and pass.
This team reminds me of the 65-17 Rockets roster from the 2017-2018 season. Depth is even better. Better young talent. We'll see though...

Cousins IS a shell of his former self lol

There's no IF about it, dude is slow as shit now and looks nothing like his prime years. He's serviceable but nowhere near a star caliber piece anymore.

What if I told you that John Wall is even better than his best all-star days with the Wizards?
He's much quicker and he even admitted being out two years was good for his mental health.

And Boogie Cousins is looking like a beast again. Both are 30-year-old playmakers. I love it!
It's just the preseason though. We'll find out how good the Rockets are starting December 23.

Boogie can still ball and is a brute force that can also shoot threes. Doesn't have to be an all-star for the Rockets to be a dangerous team. Christian Wood can play the 5 or 4 also. The Rockets are much better than they were last year when they had zero size and couldn't rebound.
