there is certainly a 'trigger' for when fouls occur

they review that stuff all the time. if that foul occurred 2 secs later they would have reviewed it to ensure it happened before the game clock expires

so a bs answer really

they just dont want to review shooting fouls (much like how you can't challenge pass interference calls in NFL) as it could open a big can of worms and ruin games' rhythm

but these plays dont happen often (especially at the buzzer) so they should review under 2 mins or something at least

Up 3. Westbrook finished 5-12 so at worst, he was like 5-12 at that point in the game. That's 42%.
Free throws though, Westbrick is like 62% on the season somehow. For him to make 3 straight freethrows, its 60% times 3, which is just 21%.
It's actually better to foul him and force him to make three straight free throws since he blows at them. I don't mind Lonzo fouling him.

Actually I change my mind, not so much because I'm ok with Westbrook shooting 3 free throws, that was going to be a heavily contested shot from a 24% 3 point shooter, but because they had no timeouts and there were maybe 3 seconds left, this would have gone down to them missing a free throw on purpose and hoping for an offensive rebound or trying to play the foul game with no timeouts and very little time left.

Poor Paul George, he choose Westbrook over LBJs.
