I just can't settle on the idea of trading him before he's even 25. For a 31 year old.

5 years from now we'd be watching him dominate on a mother team and he wouldn't even be 30 years old yet 🙄

Just want to see what happens this season under Doc.

Not only that, but only 2 years remaining on his contract. If it goes poorly in Philly, why the fuck would he stay?
It's a big reason Ainge never just went for it too. Everyone knows they could have landed Kawhi offering Jaylen but fuck rentals....I'm good.

Simmons isn't going anywhere

He'd sign long term upon arrival, I'm sure that would be part of the deal.

In response, 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium: “We are not trading Ben Simmons — he is an important part of our future

Well that didn't last long.

Oh, I totally agree. Philly has to demand that but would Harden be willing? Unlikely I believe.

This is the first time I've been excited about a Wizards season in years.

Granted their ceiling is probably a 4th seed but still.

Avdija was a fucking steal. Westbrook is gonna be a huge boost regardless of the negative stigma a lot of casual fans attach to him. Beal is a top 5 SG. Thomas Bryant is a stud offensively. This team isn't a contender but they are definitely not a garbage fringe playoff team either like last season.

Worst case it is going to be fun seeing some high scoring games and maybe a series win in the playoffs.

Yea I definitely can see them beating the Celtics, Sixers, Pacers, or Raptors. Bucks, Heat, and Nets probably not.

All it took for your newfound optimism was for them to discard Wall. 😂😂

Mike Missanelli: "I'm putting you in charge. If the Rockets called the Sixers and offered James Harden for Ben Simmons, straight up. Are you doing that if you're the Sixers?"

Charles Barkley: "No"
