Lets go with the first option of Super Stars to sign next season KD or Kawhi, obviously Kuz performance is going to go down because a 2nd star will take shots. Kuz's lower production is for the greater good though, to win Championships. How is a team going to guard KD/Kawhi and Lebron, Kuz is going to get so many open looks, open cuts to the rim, he will succeed.

Meanwhile, for example, Brandom Ingram's production will be way lower because hes a player who needs the ball to produce. All he can do is drive to the Free Throw line and fade. Look at Ingram's stats when LBJs is on the floor, he has been terrible. Kuz's game is special because he doesn't need the ball to score, he makes cuts to the rim, he can actually shoot the 3 ball, and pick and roll.

AD is someone we have to trade for, not a free agent we can sign.

its harder to get a trade done IMHO,(Kinda like the Kawhi trade with Pop, he stated he wasnt going to trade with LAL just because) any team can put together a package, LAL is finally in the perfect position to land another top Free Agent.

We got the money, we got LBJs, and our Young core is valuable to keep or package for another star/player. We were 4th seed when everyone was healthy and sitting at 8th seed without LBJs with a record of 3-5.

If AD turns them down, they're going to trade him. They won't let him walk for free.

Obviously but they can seriously pull a POP and not trade him to any Western conference team and send him East to Celtics, they can easily match our package. Everyone thought LAL were going to get Kawhi in a trade and it didnt happen

What im saying is we have no control on what the Pelicans do, also we need Ingram to step the fuk up so his Value doesnt go down.

The thing with AD is this.
Two biggest suitors for him are Celtics and Lakers.
Lakers can go after him during the trade window that ends in Feb. Celtics CANNOT.
Celtics can offer way more shit for him than we can, in terms of picks etc, but they gotta wait until July 1 before they can offer anything.
If AD turns down an extension or lets Pelicans know he ain't signing, Pelicans can do three things.
1. Give him away for best offer at the deadline.
2. Give him away for best offer in the summer.
3. Keep him, and try to change his mind.

I really think it's gonna happen during the summer, and Celtics get him. Even if we would offer Kuzma Ingram Hart + 1st rounder. (Don't think they would want Lonzo, with Jrue under contract)

That's why im not buying into the AD Hype, our goal is a 2nd star in Free Agency(KD/Kawhi), and im praying Beal is still on the market then.

Obviously we still try to see what Pelicans want for AD

Yeah but 100% we ain't getting Durant in a million years and Kawhi, I'm honestly not that sold on anymore and I think he stays in Raptors.

We get our 2nd super star in Free Agency and look to trade for Beal with Ingram and Hart but obviously we need to get a 2nd star in free agency first
