As much as I do want Beasley, I would be a bit worried about chemistry. Sheed, Ron, Barnes and Beasley on the same team. oh lawd

We'd have to pay 12.4m for him basically
6.2m + the same in luxury tax
that's a bit to steep

Chris Broussard‏@Chris_Broussard
Twolves offered Beasley to Lakers for LA's best 1st round pick 2012. LA said No b/c it doesn't want to pay the added luxury tax, source says

It does make sense. There has been a lot of buzz about the Buss' really trying to avoid the luxury tax over the past few years.

Yeh I was about to say, from a basketball standpoint it makes no sense. And before reading umade's post I knew it had to be something with the owner/luxary tax and I was right.

You know, if we did this trade, we'd have one less first round pick to trade and we'd have used all of our trade exception basically.
If we did this trade we would not be able to go after Dwight imo
