I heard that James Harden will very likely rejoin the Houston Rockets as a free agent this summer but I don't know if I want that. A good veteran can accelerate their rebuilding process but how many years did Harden let us down in the playoffs? I had faith in him and you always said he was a choke artist. But the NBA isn't like football or baseball. One or two good free agents can make a huge difference in a rebuild. The Lakers were terrible not too long ago and they end up with LeBron and AD out of nowhere, and conveniently stumble their way to an NBA Title at the Disney double. Granted, that probably doesn't happen under normal circumstances but who knows?

I agree, tho Bud has professed to change the scheme this year to close out on shooters. The Bucks are 7th best guarding the 3 pt line in the league. The Celtics just have so many shot creators and wings. Stevens deserves recognition as EOY for the Brogdon move alone, and I suspect he has made it a point to limit minutes for both Brogdon and RWIII.

Not unable, just unlikely. If Celtics lose their final 3 games, and the Sixers win their final 3 games, then the Celtics drop to 3rd seed.

Same scenario for the #1 seed. Bucks would need to lose out, and Celtics would need to win out.

Bucks have won 13 of their last 14 against Chicago. Giannis can sit and they'll probably win again

Celtics have similarly dominated Atlanta, if they have to they can turn it on for the final game
