Read the link i posted, it literally breaks it down step by step. Notice how Tobias stands patiently and waits for the pin down screen between Embiid/Curry and then waits for Curry to get free to receive the pass at the top as a result. Then Tobias sets the screen and the Lakers switch (as expected) and Tobias gets the matchup he wants instead of having LeBron on him.
It worked out perfectly, and it's sooooo much better than the shit Brett Brown relied on last season. With that much time you want to see these types of plays unfold, plenty of time to get guys open or get the matchup you want.
edit: it was a multi option play because Embiid was an option to feed in the post, but AD stuck with him and was preventing the safe entry pass.
