No they don't

Talent was never a question? You have 2 players who cannot co exist on the floor at the same time. Then you have 2 players who arguably have the worst contracts in the NBA. Sixers are exactly what they have shown, a mediocre team who sometimes can turn it on but in general arent really a threat.

They can co-exist actually, they did so this season and had solid production on the floor together when together. Much of the "can't co-exist" shit also comes from coaching, because the offense they ran was trash and having Simmons consistently stand in the "dunkers spot" while Embiid posted up was just nonsense.

In regards to Tobias, he's a very good (and efficient) scorer in the right system as we've all seen without question. Prior to coming to Philly he was dropping 21 PPG on 50/43/88 as the #1 guy leading the Clippers to a playoff spot in the West. He was simply not put in a position to utilize his strengths with the Sixers though, and was obviously asked to do things he shouldn't have been doing on a team that just doesn't move well off the ball and has a stale offense with too many big men on the floor. Same with Josh Richardson, prior to coming to Philly he was averaging 17/4/4 with Miami as their #1 guy and leading them to the playoffs and looked pretty damn good as a playmaker too. It's not like these guys came to Philly without having been proven, we all know what they CAN do but the fit has been strange and it starts with coaching.

Horford looked like shit no doubt but why? All of a sudden the guy goes from being productive with the Celtics and being an All-Star to looking like he doesn't even belong in the rotation? Once again, none of the offensive flow utilized his strengths the way it should have been utilized. Also, he's a stretch 5 not a 4 so playing him next to Embiid isn't really a good idea especially in the garbage ass offense BB was trying to run. Not saying Horford isn't overpaid, because at this point he definitely doesn't look like he's ever going to be worth that max deal but he can be wayyyy better than he was this past season that's for sure.

No reason the Sixers didn't have a top 2 or 3 seed in the East, and everyone knew it. They were without a doubt the biggest disappointment this season unfortunately.

tl;dr: Sixers should have been a top 2 or 3 seed, as predicted and were the most disappointing team in the league as a result of failing to do so.

Team with that much talent shouldn't be a #6 seed, period. You can't go from a favorite to be in the Finals to a #6 seed. Brett Brown firing was a no brainer.

This. I think they will be behind he Heat, Nets, Celtics, Bucks, Pacers, Raptors, etc. in the East.

For the game tonight, I'm thinking Heat +10 (I heard it was +10, don't know for sure) and the under.
