What you make depends on where you live too....a lot of areas have MUCH higher cost of living (NYC or LA for example) as opposed to many places in the south where it's cheap as fuck to buy a house and live in general...

U.S. real (inflation adjusted) median household income is just under $52k a year.

Only like 20% of U.S. households make $100k+ a year. And just 4.3% make $250k+ a year.

So anyone making $50k+ a year is doing well for themselves in this country, you're living comfortable.
