So happy we finally got him off the books. Was happy to see he let us buy him out at such a fair amount.

Just coming in to say that I'm liking your potential roster right meow. Hopefully Lebron will help Kuzma and Ingram develop, because Ingram has a great base and Kuzma was massively underused last season. That kid is ridiculous. IN August ESPN had the Lakers as a lottery team. I think that's up to Lebron. If they aren't doing well he could tank and hope for a good pick, but I think he'll make a couple of good moves in terms of building the roster and get them into the playoffs.

No way in Fuk do u tank with the best player in the world, We have enough cap space to sign a max deal next season ( Kawhi ), Lebron is going to play his heart out this season to attract a 2nd star. Our young core will Ball the Fuk out too because they are playing with the best player on the planet.

Win/Win and we are going to the Playoffs for sure, maybe see GSW in WCF.

Next year we will Sign Kawhi and take down GSW.

WCF seems steep with the current line-up but if the players respond well to Lebron's presence I wouldn't rule it out completely. The young Lakers have some legitimate talent and they probably idolize Lebron. I think he's going to bring out the best in Kuzma. Maybe Lonzo too. Just because the guy has a dumb dad, it doesn't mean he doesn't have a high basketball IQ.

I honestly think Lonzo and Lebron is going to be really fun to watch, Lonzo always passes the ball up the court, he doesnt dribble down the court like most PGs. Lebron can catch the ball at half court for an easy 4on4 or 3on3.

When Lonzo and Lebron are sitting, Rondo can Lead the 2nd unit.

Lake Show is back baby!

I agree. I think it could be a good combination. Lebron can hide Lonzo's weaknesses and build his strengths. It's perfect timing in Lonzo's career. I think the Lakers will be a strong scoring group. I worry about them on the other end right now.

Lakers were doing pretty solid until key players got hurt last season
They had a legit shot at playoffs w/o Lebron

I thought they had some defensive holes and that if they made the playoffs it would be good XP but possibly a hard lesson. With Lebron, I think they'll make the playoffs, and depending on how the young talent grows and responds to Lebron's presence, possibly make a deep run. As much as I dislike Lebron, seeing the Lakers in the finals would be a lot of fun and it would be great for the game. Winning the championship with the Lakers (assuming they don't make any changes) would in my view be the greatest achievement in Lebron's career. He has legitimate talent around him but they're just puppies and if he can turn them around he will deserve credit for his influence. He's the only guy in the league that could turn this team into a championship team. Only a generational talent like MJ or Lebron could do that. They need their fans to build momentum, they need to feel inspired, they need to gel, they need to grow, and they need to be encouraged to find themselves on the court, they need to play as a team, and they need to learn the X's and O's and manage a deep playoff run. I'm excited for the Lakeshow right now. I don't expect a championship this year unless they make a couple of moves but if they win it I'm going to give Lebron full credit.

e: That's about the closest I've ever been to looking like a Lebron fan. I just like the possibilities in front of the Lakers right now. As a lifelong fan of the game, I get excited when certain teams come together in a way that generates a feeling that something will explode. Lebron's move out of the East to a big market team with a bunch of young talent sets up the storyline of the year, if not the decade (so long as they win).
