The NBA Lottery is two nights away. I'm feeling more anxious than nervous. The Rockets have Phoenix's unprotected lottery pick. If it doesn't move up it will be the 9th pick in the draft. But there's a 17.3% chance it will be a top four pick. And a 3.8% chance it will be the first overall pick. If it's the 9th pick the decision to trade it will be much easier. You offer to trade that 9th pick in the 2025 draft, along with the Suns' 2027 and 2029 unprotected first-round picks (three extra firsts) to sweeten the pot in any trade for a disgruntled superstar. But if that pick ends up in the top four or first overall the Rockets may end up using the pick on Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Tre Johnson, VJ Edgecombe or Ace Bailey.
