My top 3 underdogs picks (using tx's spreads, no more than 1.2 favored, and only ML)
Reds -110 > Braves - Braves starter Aaron Blair is only in the majors to get more experience. He's getting a lot of learning per start, like how to give up 5+ runs per start.
-------------------------- Braves also have a -110 line when betting on them and have the -1.5 RL, technically making them favored.. Braves are 0-5 when favored and Reds are 10-2 when favored. Reds are 2-7 @ Cinci against Braves though.
-------------------------- Too bad there isn't a Reds -1.5 line.. Bold Prediction: 6-2 Reds.
Royals +115 > Indians - The line keeps moving more towards Indians (-132 on sportsbook), but that doesn't change my prediction. Royals are finally home after enduring a terrible road stretch. They play much better at home and are going to want to reverse that stretch today.
----------------------------- Indians are 9-3 in their last 12, 7-3 last 10 on the road, and 9-4 @ Royals. Royals are 2-8 last 10 games, but are 5-0 last 5 at home and outscoring opponents 42-26 during that. Bold Prediction: Royals 7-3
Phillies +175 > Jays - If Eickhoff can effectively locate his slider, the Jays offense will be stagnant. Jays have a MUCH better offense and much more power than the Phillies, but if there was any game the Phillies could possibly win, it would be against Dickey.
-------------------------- Phillies are 0-5 last 5 on the road, and 2-12 last 14 against the Jays. Jays are 7-1 last 8 at home. Bold Prediction: 5-4 Phillies, extra innings
