Then you realize Simmons is only in his 3rd season and just getting started.

The expectations for Philly athletes is absurdly high. These guys are just getting going, but the expectations show just how good these guys can be. In their first few years they haven't made it past the semi-finals and people are calling it a failure.....talk about expectations lol.

The expectation for Stars is high because they had more talent than a team that should’ve made it to only the semis.

Let’s not act like they are so much younger than many other contenders in the east.

Boston: Tatum - 22 , Brown - 24
Bucks: Giannis - 25
Heat: Bam - 23, Herro - 20, Robinson - 26

I DO think their moves this off-season were nice but all they did was correct what bad moves they made to ruin their past 2 seasons. Only time will tell how it all works out.

A team with championship aspirations doesn't go out and get placeholders. They need actual players, not players who may not work out.

The place holder in this case is helping us not deal with Horford for 3 more years.

well worth any price.

Exactly.

None of those guys have won anything either but the expectations for the 76ers players and Giannis are different than those other guys and that's just facts.

You do know the Celtics have made the ECF 3 of the past 4 years with these guys on their team as their core? Their expectations at just as high as PHI every year, they just seem to not shrink come post season.

I like how you mention the Heat, yet their best player is in his 30's.....

Boston and Bucks haven't even been to the Finals either lol. My point stands.
