I mean this is just a game of chicken at this point. Morey is trying to hold out for value but GM's know that there will be a dark cloud hanging over Philly if Simmons is still on the team to begin the season. Can you imagine the shitstorm that could arise from fans booing Simmons every time he misses a free throw?

They're never talked about but I think Atlanta and Philly would be great trade partners. Atlanta has too many good assets and needs to consolidate, Simmons would fit great alongside Trae and Bogie
