Bump

Pistons tanking hard for a good draft pick

Oh wait we traded it 🤔

Man, I'm starting to think the pistons organization is more dysfunctional than the bulls.I could have never thought this, GARPAX getting moves right, and the pistons wrong.

No offense but why did you guys think bringing in Blake without any shooters besides Kennard was smart idea lol.

I think one reason was to help bring people to the stadium. My buddy works for the Pistons and said attendance went up a bit when Griffin first came to the team. They got a brand new arena and struggling to sell tickets.

That makes sense. Griffin is a marquee player and in the right system Drummond and Griffin can thrive since they are both great passers for their positions. It's such a shame to see a team that just needs some shooters desperately. I say Pistons should try to go hard after either some sign and trade deal or maybe Danny Green from the Spurs?

Pistons should try to go after someone like Danny Green. They really need to improve; not only their weak perimeter defense, but they need some enforcing wings. Johnson has had so many chances to prove himself, I wouldn't be surprised to see him packaged for another 3rd All-star.

The Pistons seem like they have bought into going all in, consequences be damned. SVG is under the hot seat, but he better decide to go with the Dwight Howard team, if he wants to recreate similar success with Drummond.

Were a bottom-class team right now. Hopefully we can make some nice offseason moves. I agree, we need to offload Stanley. He’s not going to develop into what we need from him, at least not with this team. I’d like to move Reggie Jackson if possible as well. We need a reliable point guard. Ennis is a decent enough 3 and D wing. I like Bullock and Tolliver, and once Leuer gets healthy we will have solid enough front court depth, but our guards are among the weakest in the league.

Hopefully Griffin and Drummond will continue to develop good chemistry and will work better together for the team’s benefit come next season, like AD and Boogie. It really hurts us to lose our first rounder this year, especially since we’ve done so poorly since we acquired Blake. I’d say SVG has one more year to prove that his plan is getting us somewhere before he gets fired, and honestly I could see him getting fired in the middle of next season if things don’t start off well. But I hope they at least keep him over the offseason.
