Wtf r u talking about, this thread was an obvious troll.. Everyone knew Teabag was joking and wasn't gonna let him take that guys measly 5fg even if he was serious.
It wasn't an obvious troll to the OP.
He was offered terms to a bet which were accepted by both sides in plain English and TB didnt plan to pay if he lost.Quote
No that's not my opinion, it must be black and white. There has to be complete objectiveness so that there's never an argument over whether a bet is official or not.
Now you dont even know what an opinion means.

If you join a new sub forum and you've never bet before you should take 3 minutes and find / read the rules. If you decide not to, once again that is your fault.
You assigning blame to new users/victim blaming does not mean the rules should be ridiculous and counter-intuitive.
I dont think you understand how logic works.

Here's what will happen.
"My lakers +5 vs magic for 500"
Random guy posts "I'll take magic -5 for 300"
OP "ok u got 300 glgl"
Guy #2 "will you take my magic -5 for 300 also?"
OP "ok fine 300 more for u too"
After the game guy #2 will be like "wow I never confirmed I was asking if you would take 300 more but u took to long to reply so I forgot about it"
Do you see where if guy #2 posted "I'll take my magic -5 for another 300 if you want, c'd before tipoff" and then OP quotes him and "confirmed" how that is a much much much better system.
How do you not understand this?
Do you not see how you added terms in the 2nd example, and how something else could replace "c'd"?
"I'll take magic -5 for another 300 if you want, i accept the bet if you accept before halftime"
Do you not see how the "c'd" system doesnt have to be abandoned for users who want to use that terminology?
You can use that exact same sentence you posted and nothing will change for you.
"200fg on cavs s/u"
"I ll take this bet"
"ok cool gl"
"gl"
That can't be a bet in your world, no matter what?
Seems pretty black and white to me.
