lol Durant is nowhere near as big and strong, and doesn't post up or work in the post nearly as often as Embiid.
Embiid is the most difficult player in the league to guard because he's the biggest player on the court, yet so incredibly skilled, can shoot at a high level, has great footwork, and posts up often. This season he started posting up more often at the elbow and facing up there as well, and he said that's intentional and something they worked on in the off-season. It's harder to double team him there, so his coaches are trying to put him in position where he can work out of double and triple teams easier. It's working well because his mid-range from there is his bread and butter and his court vision has improved tremendously.
Plus, his IQ is so good now. He catches defenders with their hand in the cookie jar all the time, trying to put a hand on him he does the swipe through. If you slip up at all defensively, Embiid will make you pay and exploit it.
