Would the NBA step in if Melo signed a vet min with GSW

They need to implement some type of rule where if u get bought out, you have to sign a deal within a 50% discount, not vet min for Melo.

After a player comes off a serious injury he has to sign a contract within a 50% range

So for example Melo making 25Million he has to sign else where for 14 milion plus range

DMC has to sign within 15 million plus range
